The NYPD says Angel Carrasco, 31, is wanted as detectives continue investigating the early-morning incident at 2550 Olinville Avenue in the Bronx. Police responded to a 911 call at about 3:38 a.m. Tuesday and found a 23-year-old woman and an infant with injuries consistent with a fall from an elevated location. Investigators determined the two had been pushed from a balcony, according to police. The woman, identified as Nathaly Ramirez, 23, was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, where she was later pronounced dead. Her infant daughter was also taken to Jacobi in critical condition. Bronx Man Arrested After Mother Dies in 15th-Floor Balcony Fall With Baby Brother Turns in Suspect - Report By Staff Reporter Bronx Voice October 8, 2026 BRONX, NY - A 31-year-old Bronx man has been arrested after police say he pushed his former girlfriend from a 15th-floor balcony while she was holding their 8-month-old daughter. Angel Carrasco was arrested around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday after detectives received information about his whereabouts, police said. Investigators said Carrasco’s brother went to the 49th Precinct and told detectives where he was hiding. Members of the Regional Fugitive Task Force later took Carrasco into custody. Police allege Carrasco pushed 23-year-old Nathaly Ramirez from the balcony of the Allerville Arms apartment building in Allerton early Tuesday morning. Woman Gets Strangled on Bronx Bus

NYPD Seeks Public’s Help Identifying Woman in Bronx Strangulation Incident By Staff Reporter Bronx Voice September 29, 2026 BRONX, NY - A Bronx commuter was beaten and strangled on a bus near Fordham by an angry passenger, cops said. According to police, the incident happened at approximately 4:00 p.m. on September 9, in the vicinity of Webster Avenue and East Fordham Road, within the NYPD’s 52nd Precinct. Police said a 28-year-old woman was riding a BX4 bus when she became involved in a verbal dispute with an unidentified female. The woman allegedly struck the victim several times in the face and head with a closed fist before placing her hands around the victim’s neck and applying pressure. The victim reportedly experienced difficulty breathing and pain following the alleged strangulation. The suspect then jumped out of the bus and fled the area on foot.
