By Staff Reporter Bronx Voice October 16, 2026 BRONX, NY - NYPD releases surveillance footage as detectives search for suspects in a suspected gang-related shooting near Westchester Square . One suspect appears to be around the victim’s age. A 12-year-old girl was shot in the Bronx after a group of four suspects allegedly opened fire near a local playground, striking the child and several parked cars. Now, the NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying two shooting suspects after releasing surveillance video of the suspects . One appears to be around the same age as the young victim. TERRORIZED: Boyfriend Wanted In Balcony Push Had History of Domestic Violence with Victim - NYPD Says By Staff Reporter Bronx Voice October 7, 2026 BRONX, NY - Police have identified the man, they say, is wanted in connection with the horrifying Bronx balcony incident that left a young mother dead and her infant daughter injured. The NYPD says Angel Carrasco, 31, is wanted as detectives continue investigating the early-morning incident at 2550 Olinville Avenue in the Bronx. Police responded to a 911 call at about 3:38 a.m. Tuesday and found a 23-year-old woman and an infant with injuries consistent with a fall from an elevated location. Investigators determined the two had been pushed from a balcony, according to police. The woman, identified as Nathaly Ramirez, 23, was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, where she was later pronounced dead. Her infant daughter was also taken to Jacobi in critical condition. Bronx Man Arrested After Mother Dies in 15th-Floor Balcony Fall With Baby Brother Turns in Suspect - Report By Staff Reporter Bronx Voice October 8, 2026 BRONX, NY - A 31-year-old Bronx man has been arrested after police say he pushed his former girlfriend from a 15th-floor balcony while she was holding their 8-month-old daughter. Angel Carrasco was arrested around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday after detectives received information about his whereabouts, police said. Investigators said Carrasco’s brother went to the 49th Precinct and told detectives where he was hiding. Members of the Regional Fugitive Task Force later took Carrasco into custody. Police allege Carrasco pushed 23-year-old Nathaly Ramirez from the balcony of the Allerville Arms apartment building in Allerton early Tuesday morning.
