Police arrested 43-year-old Ellis Landel of Far Rockaway, Queens and charged him with second degree assault. Cops arrested Landel in connection with an attack last month on a subway train in Mott Haven. At around 9 am on August 13, a 57-year-old male was sitting on a southbound Number 5 train. Cops said a man just walked up to the straphanger and hit him upside the head with a glass bottle. The attacker got off at the 138th Street and Grand Concourse Station and fled. The victim sustained a cut to the head and was treated at the scene by EMS. Police recovered surveillance video of the suspect from the subway station cameras. It is still unclear
