BRONX - Two police officers and a robbery suspect were struck by a car as the officers were making an arrest at a Bronx mall.

At around 7:10 pm on October 13, officers from the 52nd Precinct were responding to a call of a robbery at the Target Mall on 40 West 225th Street in Marble Hill. When the officers arrived, they spotted 45-year-old Manny Tate who was fleeing the mall. The officers gave chase on foot.

The officers chased the suspect across West 225th Street and caught him. As they were trying to restrain Tate who was resisting, a 2012 Honda Civic plowed into the officers and Tate.
