Yankees 31st Annual Holiday Food Drive Helps to Feed the Bronx Photo by NY Yankees Bronx Voice  December 10, 2025  BRONX LOCAL NEWS - The holiday spirit was in full swing at Yankee Stadium this week as the New York Yankees teamed up with C-Town & Bravo Supermarkets and Krasdale Foods for their 31st Annual Holiday Food Drive . From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., fans rolled up with bags, boxes, and even carts filled with non-perishable items—proof that Bronx residents show up in a big way when it comes to supporting their neighbors. Big Donations, Big Rewards Yankees infielder/catcher Ben Rice joined front office staff in collecting donations right outside the stadium. Fans who brought at least 40 pounds of food walked away with a special thank-you: a voucher good for two complimentary tickets to select 2026 Yankees regular season home games . BRONX - Cops are looking for a man who shot up multiple cars and shot a bullet through the window of a home in Wakefield. 



At around 6 pm on October 7, a man in a black hoodie was in the vicinity of Cranford Avenue and Seton Avenue in Wakefield. Cops said without warning, the man pulled out a handgun and began firing. Bullets struck multiple parked vehicles. One bullet crashed through a window to a nearby home. 


No one was injured in the barage of bullets.


It is unclear who the gunman was firing at. 






Surveillance video shows the suspect prior to the shooting. Then he is seen running down the block with what looks like a gun in his hand. 


The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion and facial hair. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie with a circular graphic on the left corner of the front of the sweatshirt. It also had a large white graphic across the back of the hoodie. He also wore white sneakers and black torn jeans.
