BRONX - The NYPD released dramatic video of a gunman opening fire in broad daylight which killed a Bronx man. Investigators are hoping the video of the shooter firing off multiple rounds will provide tips leading to the gunman’s arrest.

On Wednesday, 30-year-old Jeffrey Lopez was gunned down on East 187th Street and Beumont Avenue. Cops released street camera video of the shooting in an attempt to catch the masked gunman.

At around 6:32 pm on May 8, street surveillance cameras captured the shooting. The suspect, dressed all in black, is seen walking up Beaumont Avenue. As he crossed the street he lets off one round from his handgun. He appears to aim towards the corner of East 187th.

As the gunman crosses to the opposite sidewalk, people are seen in the video fleeing. Then the gunman lets off a barage of shots before turning and running back down Beaumont.

Investigators said Lopez suffered a gunshot wound to the head. He was rushed blocks away to Saint Barnabas Hospital but was pronounced dead.

The video shows the gunman dressed all in black. He wore a black hoodie with a white crest or logo on the left breast pocket, with an even larger image on the back. He also wore sunglasses and a black mask, black hat and red gloves. He wore black pants and white sneakers.
