By Dan Gesslein  Bronx Voice  November 24, 2025  BRONX LOCAL NEWS - Yet another bus driver is recovering after being punched in the face by an unruly passenger and the NYPD is asking for the public’s help ion trying to catch the attacker.  At around 5:40 pm on November 21, a 42-year-old MTA bus driver was behind the wheel of a BX15 bus. Near the southwest corner of 3rd Avenue and East 163rd Street, the driver picked up a passenger who immediately began arguing with him. The dispute soon got heated and then the rider punched the driver in the face.  After smashing the driver in the face, cops said the attacker hopped off the bus and rode off on a bicycle in an unknown direction.  The bus driver was left with pain and noticeable swelling to his face. BRONX - Three men are being sought by cops for robbing a cabbie at knifepoint outside a Bronx cemetery. Investigators are hoping the suspect’s loud hoodie will lead to their arrests.


At around 12:45 am on May 19, a 28-year-old cabbie was requested to pick up a fare at 3699 Bainbridge Avenue, across the street from Woodlawn Cemetery. 



At the location, the cabbie picked up three men in hoodies. Cops said as soon as the trio entered the car, one pulled out a knife while the two others rumaged through the driver’s pockets. 



The robbers took $270 in cash and jumped out of the car. 


They were last seen running southbound on Jerome Avenue. 





The driver was not injured. After an investigation, police released surveillance video taken from a nearby bodega. 





Police have identified these men as the suspected robbers. One of the suspects was seen wearing a distinctive Ed Hardy “Battle Skull Hoodie” with a bright colored design. 


The other suspects wore plain hoodies. One wore a blue hoodie, brown pants and black and yellow Air Jordans. The third suspect wore a black hoodie and black pants. He also wore black and yellow Air Jordans.
