BRONX - A gang member, who is currently serving time for attempted murder, was charged in the gruesome execution of two young friends. The bodies of the victims were found in a burning car on Shore Road two years ago.

The NYPD announced the arrest of 26-year-old Terrence White in connection with the deaths of Jesse Parrilla and Nikki Huang. White was charged with murder, manslaughter, robbery, kidnapping, arson, and weapons charges.

Investigators claim they have White on surveillance video leaving the scene of the murder - the burning car. White is a member of the “Down the Hill” gang. Four members of the gang have already been charged in connection with the murders.

At around 4:30 am on May 16, members of the FDNY discovered the bodies of Parrilla and Huang as they extinguished the burning car across from Pelham Split Rock Golf Course.

According to investigators and published reports the murders stemmed from a dispute over Huang’s designer bag. Huang allegedly talked to a friend who is affiliated with the “Up the Hill” gang who are rivals with the “Down the Hill” gang.

Brandon Atkinson, a member of “Down the Hill” was gunned down outside outside a deli. Cops said in retaliation Huang and Parrilla were kidnapped, driven to the secluded area near City Island and executed.
