BRONX - A man was stabbed in the gut on a busy shopping strip in broad daylight, the NYPD said. 


A around 3:45 pm on January 27, a 32-year-old man was near a department store on the corner of Kingsbridge Road and Fordham Road. Cops said the man was walking on the commercial strip when another man started arguing with him. Cops said the man pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the abdomen. 


The attacker ran off but not before his image was caught on surveillance cameras along the commercial strip.




The victim was rushed by EMS to nearby Saint Barnabas Hospital where he is listed in stable condition. 


The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion and slim build. He was last seen wearing a black and white jacket, orange hooded sweatshirt, black hat, blue jeans, and black sneakers.
