BRONX - Two children have been found dead inside a Bronx apartment as investigators try to determine a cause of death, the NYPD said. 


At around 11:20 am today, emergency personnel arrived at an apartment building on East 175th Street in Mount Hope. Inside the apartment officials found a boy and a girl, age 5, unconscious in the apartment. 


The children were later pronounced dead.  


Published reports claim the children are siblings. Police are investigating and the city’s medical examiner will determine a cause of death.
