Two People Injured in Early-Morning Shooting on Briggs Avenue  By Dan Gesslein  Bronx Voice  November 11, 2025  BRONX LOCAL NEWS - The NYPD is searching for a female gunman who opened fire on a Bronx street wounding two people. Investigators would not disclose a motive for the shocking shooting. According to police, the gunfire erupted just after midnight, around 12:08 a.m. on November 6, 2025 in front of 2561 Briggs Avenue.  The NYPD released surveillance video of the female suspect wanted in the callous shooting across the street from the Fordham Road Library.  An unidentified person reportedly opened fire, hitting a 27-year-old woman in the back and a 42-year-old man in the right hand. Emergency crews rushed to the scene, and both victims were taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital. Authorities say they’re in stable condition and expected to recover. BRONX - The NYPD is searching for two men who stabbed and robbed a man in front of a Bronx storefront church.


At around 1:30 am on December 17, a 35-year-old man was standing in front of a furniture store next to a storefront church on White Plains Road. Two men approached him and stabbed him in the leg, cops said.


The pair then forcibly removed $250 cash off the victim, cops said. The attackers then fled south on White Plains Road.


The victim was rushed by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.


The first suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion and a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black vest with a black hooded sweatshirt underneath, dark colored sweatpants, and red and black sneakers.


The second suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion and a thin build. He was last seen wearing a multicolored jacket with a light colored hooded sweatshirt underneath, black pants, and black and white sneakers.
