BRONX - A Bronx woman was shot as a result of a gunman not being able to shoot straight, cops said. The NYPD released surveillance video of a man in a camo bomber jacket, who they say, is the main suspect in the shooting of an innocent bystander.

At around  10 pm on November 12, a 41-year-old woman was standing outside a grocery story on East 180th Street in the Belmont section of the Bronx. Cops said two men nearby began arguing.

As the dispute escalated one of the men pulled out a handgun and opened fire on the other. The bullet missed the intended target and hit the female bystander in the torso.

Cops said the gunman hopped into a red, four-door sedan and took off eastbound on East Tremont Avenue.

EMS rushed the victim to nearby Saint Barnabas where she was treated for the gunshot wound. She is listed in stable condition.

The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect taken both inside and outside a local store. He is described as a male with a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a camouflage baseball hat, heavy fur lined winter coat, camouflage shirt, camouflage pants, and tan boots.
