Carjacker Caught on Video ‘Red Handed’

BRONX - Police are searching for a hooligan, wearing what resembles red hooded long johns, for a Bronx carjacking.



Police said the red hooded suspect was one of four men who robbed a vehicle at gunpoint in Mott Safe house a week ago.


At around 2:30 am on October 17, a 42-year-old female and a 25-year-old male were sitting inside a vehicle left before 431 Timpson Spot.


Cops said four men, including the red-hooded hoodlum, approached the vehicle. One of the men pushed a handgun inside the vehicle and requested the inhabitants get out and to give up the vehicle keys.


The shooter moved into the vehicle and drove off eastward on Bruckner Boulevard.The three other carjackers climbed into a close by dark SUV and followed the taken vehicle.


The victims were not harmed.



Police delivered observation video of the most prominent of the suspects. He was most recently seen wearing a dark red hooded pullover and matching jeans that made the outfit seem to be long johns. He additionally wore dark boots and shades.
