BRONX
- Cops are searching for a man dressed in white and carrying a pink back pack who is suspected of assaulting a clerk and robbing a bodega in the South Bronx.

Police released surveillance video taken from inside the store at the time of the robbery. The suspect is seen on video dressed in white - white button down shirt and white pants. He also wore black shoes. What stands out in the video is the Barbie pink color bag he had strung across his shoulder.

Another angle on the video shows off a distinctive mark on the suspect’s face. In the video the suspect appears to have some kind of mark or design above his right eye near the right temple.

Police are looking for this man who has a mark above his right eye.

At around 12:30 am on July 16, the man in white entered the grocery store at 353 East 151st Street. Cops said the suspect approached the counter and demanded money from the clerk.

Cops said the suspect punched the store worker squarely in the face. He then rumaged through the cash register behind the counter. Investigators said the man fled with an unknown amount of cash before heading northbound on East 151st Street on foot.

Cops said the store clerk suffered a minor injury and was treated by EMS at the scene.
