Landlord of Burned Bronx Building Sued to Stop Heat Monitoring

Man Shot While Sitting in Car

BRONX - A man was shot multiple times while sitting in a car in the Bronx when a unknown gunman opened fire. Cops are asking for the public’s help in trying to catch the gunman. 





The victim was wounded as he sat in a car near Williamsbridge Oval in the Norwood section of the Bronx. 


At around 11 pm on July 27, a 30-year-old male was sitting inside a car parked in front of 3349 Hull Avenue. Cops said an unknown man opened fire discharging multiple rounds. 





The victim was struck one time in the back and one time in the shoulder. The shooter jumped into a silver SUV and took off westbound on East 204th Street. 



The victim was rushed to NYC Health and Hospitals/ North Central Bronx by private means. He is listed in stable condition. 


It is unclear at this time if the victim was the intended target. Cops did not disclose if the gunman opened fire on the victim’s vehicle or if he had been shooting at another person on the street and struck the victim by mistake.

Police released surveillance video of a suspect in connection with the shooting. The suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion and a slim yet muscular build. He is six feet tall. The suspect was last seen wearing a white tank top and black and white sneakers. He was also seen wearing red shorts with a design pattern.
