Landlord of Burned Bronx Building Sued to Stop Heat Monitoring

BRONX - Cops say they have identified the shooter and scooter driver in the Bronx park shooting that left four people wounded included two children. 




Police released new video of two men wanted in connection with Tuesday’s deadly shooting inside Saint James Park near the Kingsbridge Armory.  


Cops said the suspected shooter is a male with a dark complexion, slim build, large black hair and a stud earring in his left ear. 



Police obtained the video from an elevator inside an apartment building at 108 Field Place. 





The second suspect has been identified by investigators as the driver of the moped. He is described as male with a medium complexion, medium build and black hair in braids.

The video was taken from a surveillance camera on the corner of East 183 Street and Morris Avenue. 


At around 6 pm on July 11, two men on a motorized scooter rode up to Saint James Park in the vicinity of East 193 Street and Morris Avenue, near the Kingsbridge Armory. 




The park was filled with scores of people enjoying the summer.


The rider on the back dismounted the scooter and then opened fire, cops said.


The gunman fired numerous rounds into the crowd striking a 6-year-old boy in the calf and grazing a 3-year-old boy in the calf. A 25-year-old man was shot in the lower back and a 23-year-old was shot in the left leg.





Police are not sure at this time who was the intended target.


All the victims were rushed to Saint Barnabas Hospital and are recovering.





The video shows two men dressed in black hoodies, black clothing and face masks.
