BRONX - Police are searching for four men who robbed a Bronx gas station and then beat the worker who tried to stop them.

At around 2 am on May 11, two men walked into a Citgo gas station on East 180th Street in Bathgate.

One of the men got into a dispute with a store worker behind the counter. Then one of the men pushed their way behind the counter and took money out of the till, cops said. As the robbers walked outside, the store employee followed after to confront the thieves about the stolen cash.

That is when, cops say, two other accomplices waiting outside joined the thieves and all four men began punching the clerk about the head and body.

The group then fled on foot eastbound down 188th Street.

The victim refused medical treatment at the scene.

Unfortunately for the crooks their images were caught on the store’s surveillance video.

The first suspect has a medium complexion and dreadlocks. He was last seen wearing a bright orange hoodie and sweatpants.

The second suspect is a male with a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap and a bright red hoodie.

The third suspect is a male with a medium complexion with dark hair in dreadlocks and a beard. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with a white graphic. He also wore black shorts and white sneakers.

The fourth suspect was last seen wearing a blue hoodie with a yellow sweater over the hoodie. The sweater is yellow with a graphic all over it- possibly camouflage design.
