BRONX - A pair of suspects who are wanted for a stickup near the Kingsbridge Armory could not have worn more conspicuous outfits if they tried, cops said. Now police are hoping those bright red clothes will lead to their arrest.

At around 10:45 pm on May 18, a 41-year-old man was walking in the common area of his building in the vicinity of East Kingsbridge Road and Morris Avenue - a block away from the Kingsbridge Armory.

Suddenly two men ran up behind him and one of the men showed off a handgun. While the gunman held him at bay, his partner, who is seen on video wearing a blood-red track suit and sandals, riffled through the victim’s pocket - removing his wallet.

Video from inside the hallway of the building shows the gunman pointing the weapon. He had removed his red coat and could be seen in a black track suit. The hood covering his head had a white Nike “swoosh” logo.

The robbers then ran down the stairs and out of the building in an unknown direction.

The victim’s wallet contained $300 in cash and a debit card.

Cops said the victim’s debt card was used at two stores following the robbery. The charges valued at $395 and cops believe the robbers are the ones who charged the debit card.

Police released surveillance video of the suspects prior to the robbery. The suspected gunman was seen wearing a bright red puffy jacket with a black hoodie and a track suit underneath.

The accomplice was last seen wearing a bight red track suit with a logo on the chest and red sandals and white socks.
