BRONX - A trio of hamburglars came up empty when they tried to rob a Bronx McDonald’s during an early morning break in.

At around 2:15 am on May 4, two  suspects broke into the McD’s at 101 East 170th Street through the basement door. A third member of the crew stood outside and acted as a lookout.

Cops said the burglars tried to break into the cash registers and the store’s ATM but could  not get any cash. They then fled on foot northbound on East 170th Street in Mount Eden.

However, the trio was successful in one regard- they managed to get their faces plastered all over social media after a store surveillance camera caught their images. Although the suspects wore dark clothing, hats and hoods, they failed to cover their faces from the camera.
