BRONX - Police have made an arrest in the groping of two teenage girls riding the subways in the Bronx.

At around 1 pm on March 28, police in Brooklyn arrested Pernell Brumfield and charged him with three counts of assault, two counts of criminal posession of a weapon and disorderly conduct.

Investigators say Brumfield of Brooklyn groped two 15 year old girls riding the subway in separate incidents.

At around 5 pm on March 9, a 15-year-old girl was riding a northbound Number 6 train. At the Grand Concourse and East 149th Street station, cops say the man repeatedly grabbed the girl’s buttocks before he ran out of the train.

A second groping occurred four days later.

At around 7:30 am on March 13, a 15-year-old girl was riding a northbound Number 4 train. When the train reached the River Avenue and East 167th Street station, the man grabbed her buttocks. The victim fled the train at the Bedford Park subway station.
