Landlord of Burned Bronx Building Sued to Stop Heat Monitoring

BRONX - Five people, including a child, were injured during an early morning fire in the Fordham Manor section of the Bronx. 




The FDNY said a fire broke out on the fourth floor of 2728 Morris Avenue at around 8:30 am on March 1. 



Dramatic Citizen app videos show firefighters navigate the flames pouring outside the building as they climbed ladders to the roof. 



Neighbors on nearby buildings crammed fire escapes to watch the dramatic scene play out. 

Among the five people injured were a child and two firefighters.

All the victims were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
