Landlord of Burned Bronx Building Sued to Stop Heat Monitoring

Man, Woman Sought in Vicious Bronx Mugging

Victim Met Woman and Was Then Blindsided by Attacker

BRONX - A man was vicious attacked while talking to a woman outside a Bronx apartment building. Now cops are not only searching for the attacker but the woman as well. 




At around 8:36 pm on February 5, a 44-year-old man met a woman in front of 1775 Davidson Avenue in Morris Heights. While he was talking to the woman, another man ran up behind and blindsided him. Cops say the attacker punched the victim repeatedly about the head. 


As the victim was reeling from his injuries, the attacker riffled through the man’s pockets. He removed $635 in cash from the victim before fleeing. 





Police released surveillance video of the suspects. The attacker is a heavy man with medium complexion with a beard. He was last seen wearing a dark hoodie with writing on the chest and sleeves, shorts and sandals. He was wearing a red or orange baseball cap. 





The woman was last seen wearing a pink jacket and light colored skirt.

BRONX - Two gang bangers have been convicted on federal gun crimes in connection with the shooting up of a Bronx playground. Prosecutors said the men opened fire on a group inside the park in retaliation for a video posted on social media.
