Landlord of Burned Bronx Building Sued to Stop Heat Monitoring

Cop Shot in Suicide Attempt in Bronx

BRONX - Police are investigating the shooting of an officer inside a Bronx precinct locker room as a possible suicide attempt. The officer is expected to survive. 





At around 11 am, the officer shot himself inside the locker room of the 47th Precinct stationhouse. 


The bullet shot through his cheek and he was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center in critical condition. However, officials said he is expected to survive. 





The officer was only on the job for a little over a year joining the force in December 2021.
