NYPD is Investigating Who Repeatedly Stabbed a Man and Left Him to Die in the Street on Randall Avenue  File Photo By Dan Gesslein  Bronx Voice  November 26, 2025  BRONX LOCAL NEWS - Police responding to a 911 call outside the Castle Hill Houses found a man bleeding in the middle of the street. Now detectives are investigating who repeatedly stabbed the man and what was the motive for the bloody attack.  At around 2:30 am cops from the 43rd Precinct were responding to a 911 call when they came upon a man lying bleeding in the street on the corner of Randall Avenue and White Plains Road. The 39-year-old suffered multiple stab wounds throughout his back and lower abdomen. Cop Shot in Suicide Attempt in Bronx

BRONX - Police are investigating the shooting of an officer inside a Bronx precinct locker room as a possible suicide attempt. The officer is expected to survive. 





At around 11 am, the officer shot himself inside the locker room of the 47th Precinct stationhouse. 


The bullet shot through his cheek and he was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center in critical condition. However, officials said he is expected to survive. 





The officer was only on the job for a little over a year joining the force in December 2021.
