Landlord of Burned Bronx Building Sued to Stop Heat Monitoring

BRONX - Police released dramatic surveillance video of the moment a gunman opened fire across the street from two churches in the Bronx. 



At around 10:40 pm on January 30, a 36-year-old man was in front of a grocery store at 1546 East 233rd Street. A man dressed in a white hoodie asked him to come over to him. He then pulled out a handgun and opened fire multiple times. 


The victim was struck in both legs. 


The gunman hopped into a black Chevy sedan and took off eastbound down East 233rd Street. 




The victim was transported to Jacobi Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition. 



The shooting took place on the corner of East 233rd Street across from Olivet Gospel Church and Nativity of Our Blessed Lady Church.





The gunman is described as a man with a dark complexion and medium build. He has a black beard and mustache. He was last seen wearing a black hat, a white and black hooded sweatshirt and a black hooded winter jacket, white pants and black and white sneakers.
