BRONX - A cane-wielding robber was caught on video punching a Bronx woman in the face in an attack that could have been much worse. The attacker initially told his victim to take off her pants.

At around 9 pm on February 8, a 19-year-old woman was walking a few blocks away from Yankee Stadium when a man with a cane followed her into an apartment building in the vicinity of West 164th Street and Woodycrest Avenue. The victim was treated for minor injuries at the scene.

The attacker is described as a man with dark complexion and medium build. He was last seen wearing a blue hoodie, black hat, black pants, black and blue sneakers, and holding a black cane.
