And here’s another alarming fact: While many factors can increase the chances of cardiovascular disease and stroke, people with diabetes have twice the chance of developing CVD compared to the population as a whole. NYPD Releases New Photos of Subway Slashers

Police released new photos of suspects wanted for a slashing in the subway.

BRONX - Police have released new photos of suspects wanted in the slashing of a straphanger in the face at a Bronx subway station last month.




At around 7 am on November 9, a 30-year-old man was in the mezzanine level of the 167 Street and Grand Concourse subway station. The straphanger got into a verbal argument with three men.




Cops say one of the group slashed the straphanger in the face.




The victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
