Landlord of Burned Bronx Building Sued to Stop Heat Monitoring

Muggers Steal Moped at Knife Point

BRONX - Police are looking for a pair of robbers who threatened and robbed an elderly man of his moped in Fordham.


Police released surveillance video of the suspects who struck near Union Hospital off of the Fordham Road BID.


At around 5 am on December 8, a 61-year-old man was sitting on his moped in front of a grocery store at 221 East 188th Street when he was approached by two men.


One of the men displayed a large knife that looked like a hunting knife. They then forcibly removed his moped.


The robbers took off with the moped on Valentine Avenue heading toward Fordham Road.
