NYPD Releases Photos from e-Bike Stickup in the Bronx   Tips on How to Stop e-Bike Theft Below Bronx Voice  December 8, 2025 BRONX LOCAL NEWS -  A 32-year-old man became the victim of a violent armed robbery on Sunday, November 23, 2025, when two unidentified suspects approached him and forcibly stole his electric bicycle in the Bronx. The incident occurred around 4:15 pm near 1704 Anthony Avenue, leaving the victim shaken but unharmed. According to police, two males approached the victim while he was near his electric bicycle. The first suspect displayed a gun during the confrontation. The suspects then forcibly took the victim’s electric bicycle and fled the scene southbound on Anthony Avenue. ‘Bagman’ Steals Cell Phone

BRONX - Cops are searching for a ‘bagman’ who swiped a straphanger’s cell phone off of him on the subway. 


The NYPD released surveillance video of a man dressed in baggy clothes holding a bag, who is wanted in connection to a subway cell phone robbery during rush hour. 



At around 5:20 pm on November 10, a 48-year-old man was riding a northbound Number 6 train. As the train approached the 149th Street station, the man in the baggy clothes snatched his cell phone out of his hands.  




The suspect then casually walked off the train and out of the station. 


The victim did not sustain any injuries.
