Landlord of Burned Bronx Building Sued to Stop Heat Monitoring

Mall Creep Groped Shopper

Police are looking for this man in connection with a groping of a woman in the parking lot of the Bay Plaza Mall.

BRONX - Cops are looking for a man who groped a female shopper as she was walking to her car in the parking lot of the Bay Plaza Mall outside Co-op City.




At around 4:30 pm on September 27, a 19-year-old woman was walking in the parking lot of the Bay Plaza Mall when she was approached by a man wearing a Yankee cap and a Gap sweatshirt. The suspect attempted to engage the woman in conversation as she continued walking.




When the woman brushed off his request, cops say the suspect grabbed the woman’s buttocks and genitals. After groping the victim as she fought him off, the suspect ran into the mall and blended in with the crowd of shoppers. 




However, it was inside the mall  that police got an image of the groper on surveillance video. Cops combing through surveillance video “found” the suspect that the victim then identified as her attacker.



The suspect is described as a male with medium skin-tone, approximately 21 years old, 5 foot 7, and 185 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue NY Yankee hat, grey sweatshirt, blue jeans and black / white sneakers.
