‘Chucky’ Hoodie Wearing Robber Attacks Clerk, Steals Smokes By Dan Gesslein  Bronx Voice  December 4, 2025  BRONX LOCAL NEWS - A would-be stickup man dressed in a “Chucky” hoodie, pistol whipped a deli clerk and only managed to run off with a couple packs of cigarettes, cops say. Now the NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect and are asking for the public’s help in trying to capture the robber.  At around noon on December 2, a man wearing a blue shirt or other kind of cloth draped over his head, walked into a bodega at 1711 Boone Avenue in Charlotte Gardens. According to investigators, the unidentified man walked into the store around 12:25 p.m. and immediately displayed a firearm. He demanded items from two employees—a 22-year-old and a 24-year-old—who were working behind the counter at the time.  Cops said the robber became agitated and struck the younger worker on the right side of the head with the gun. Cop Car Crash Hits 8 Pedestrians

NYPD Patrol Car Mounts Sidewalk, Hits Civilians in Wild Crash

Police investigating a multi-person accident in which a police car mounted the curb and struck 8 pedestrians. -Citizens App

BRONX - A child and grandmother were among the eight people struck when a marked police car lost control and hopped the curb while responding to a 911 call.  



Cops say the case is under investigation but believe the squad car was cut off or was struck by another vehicle, which led to crash. 


Two officers were also injured in the crash. 


At around 3:15 pm, a marked police SUV was responding a 911 call of a grand larceny in progress. At some point the driver lost control and the SUV mounted the curb at Hoe and Westchester Avenues. The truck 

struck eight pedestrians before hitting a pole. Reports say a child and her grandmother were struck. 


Their condition and the condition of the other six pedestrians is unknown at this time.
