At around 3 pm on April 18, a 15-year-old male was walking through Crotona Park when he was approached by three older males. Cops said one of the group pulled out a knife while the other two both pulled out black handguns. They demanded the teen take off what he was wearing. The teen handed over his Carhartt vest, Essentials hooded sweatshirt and a laundromat card. The robbers then fled with the clothes. No one was injured. An employee of the C-Town Supermarket at 1859 Bronxdale Avenue in the Van Nest section, was observed painting flowers on the shop's storefront window on March 26, in celebration of spring and Easter. Bronxites planning a traditional Easter egg hunt can expect to pay more for eggs as inflation and the ongoing bird flu epidemic continues.
