Home Depot Thief Menaces with Knife

Police are looking for this man in connection with shoplifting and menacing with a knife inside a Home Depot near Yankee Stadium.

BRONX - A shoplifter at a Home Depot near Yankee Stadium threatened an employee with a knife when he tried to stop him.



At around 3:30 pm on August 23, a man inside the Home Depot in the Gateway Shopping Center tried to leave the store with $60 worth of merchandise. When the store’s loss prevention officer tried to stop him the man threatened the 24-year-old employee with a knife.


The thief fled the store but not before his image was captured on the store’s cameras.


Police released the video in the hopes the public recognize the suspect.
