BRONX - Police have made an arrest in the fatal stabbing of a 19-year-old man during an argument over a parking spot in the Bronx.

The NYPD announced the arrest of 45-year-old Vladimir Lopez German of Featherbed Lane. He was charged with murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon in connection with yesterday’s fatal stabbing in the Bronx.

Investigators said the murder stemmed from an argument over parking spaces between two neighbors.

At around 8:23 am on April 18, Dominic Cruz Aguilera got into an argument with Lopez German over where a car was parked on the block. The men lived across the street from each other on Featherbed Lane.

Cops said as the argument got heated Lopez German stabbed Aguliera in the chest.

The victim was transported by EMS to Lincoln Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

Cops have not stated whether the victim and the suspect had previous disputes prior to the fatal stabbing.
