BRONX - A man was sucker punched while riding a bus in the Bronx, cops said.

At around 11 pm on March 12, a 26-year-old man was riding on a BX2 bus in the vicinity of Grand Concourse and East 183 Street. Cops said another male riding on the bus walked up to him and, without warning, slugged him in the face.

The attacker then exited the bus and fled on foot heading northbound on the Grand Concourse.

It is unknown why the victim was targeted.

The NYPD released surveillance video taken from inside the bus.

The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion and medium build. He was last seen wearing a bright green shirt and dark green pants and black baseball cap underneath another black hat. He has a goatee. The suspect also wore a black leather jacket with a fur collar and a small brown leather crossbody bag.
