BRONX - A Bronx e-moped driver mowed down an old woman and kept on driving, cops said. Now the NYPD released surveillance video in the search for the driver who is wanted for leaving the scene of an accident.  




At around 1:15 pm on February 13, a 71-year-old woman was crossing the street at northbound Burnside Avenue near Jerome Avenue. Cops said a white e-moped traveling northbound on Jerome Avenue slammed into the woman. 


The victim was knocked down but the scooter driver hopped back on the moped and took off. Cops said he continued north on Jerome Avenue. 



EMS transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital where she was treated for injuries to her head and face.

The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect and his moped. He is described as a male with a light complexion who is 5 foot 6. He has a slim build and a ponytail. He was last seen wearing a light blue hooded sweatshirt, white sneakers and black sweatpants.
