BRONX - Cops are looking for a female and a male who, they say, mugged a 75-year-old man as he tried to buy a MetroCard at a Bronx subway station.

At around 8 am on January 31, a 75-year-old male was inside the Prospect Avenue subway station looking to purchase a MetroCard. Cops said a male and a female approached him near the MetroCard machine and the senior tried to walk away.

As he was leaving the station, one of the suspects blocked his exit from the station while the other grabbed him and restrained the senior. The pair then forcibly removed the victim’s wallet, cops said.

The robbers then fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The victim refused medical attention at the scene.
