With three gaming-palace proposals still on the table — two in Queens and one in The Bronx — the MTA is counting on close to $2 billion through 2029 just from casino-licensing fees earmarked for the transportation authority’s annual operating budget. Supermarket Shooter Busted in Bronx

BRONX - Police arrested a suspect in the early morning shooting outside a Bronx supermarket. 



Cops arrested Roshane Allen, 30, for the murder of 40-year-old Obdulio Martinez. Allen was charged with murder, criminal posession of a weapon, assault and menacing. 


At around 3:34 am on October 19, Martinez was gunned down in front of a supermarket at 3734 White Plains Road. Police say Martinez was shot several times in the chest. 





The victim was rushed by EMS to Jacobi Medical Center but died a short time later.  





No motive for the shooting has been given at this time.
