By Dan Gesslein Bronx Voice November 24, 2025 BRONX LOCAL NEWS - Yet another bus driver is recovering after being punched in the face by an unruly passenger and the NYPD is asking for the public’s help ion trying to catch the attacker. At around 5:40 pm on November 21, a 42-year-old MTA bus driver was behind the wheel of a BX15 bus. Near the southwest corner of 3rd Avenue and East 163rd Street, the driver picked up a passenger who immediately began arguing with him. The dispute soon got heated and then the rider punched the driver in the face. After smashing the driver in the face, cops said the attacker hopped off the bus and rode off on a bicycle in an unknown direction.
