Moped Mugging Near Yankee Stadium 

A Bronx man was robbed at gunpoint by men on mopeds near Yankee Stadium.

BRONX - A group of moped riding muggers robbed a Bronx man near Yankee Stadium in broad daylight.


At around 10 am on September 11, a 29-year-old man was walking down the block from Yankee Stadium on Jerome, when he was approached by two mopeds. One moped blocked his path as the driver pointed a gun on home. The passenger dismounted and took the victim’s property.


The men on there second moped acted as a lookout.


The robber took the victim’s iPhone, bracelet and ring.


The thieves drove off in the direction of Macombs Dam Bridge.
