Cops Looking for Cellphone Store Shooter

The bullet smashed through the front door of a phone store, thankfully no one was injured. Police officials say the incident was reported at 2 p.m. on November 7, outside of the Green Olive Deli, located at 716 Morris Park Avenue, at the corner of Hunt Avenue. Officials say the unknown gunman fired a single shot at a second individual and missed. The bullet flew across the street and through the front door of Metro by T-Mobile, at 723 Morris Park Avenue. Both the gunman and victim fled the scene on foot. No description of the gunman was

Teen Stabbed for His Sneakers

BRONX - A teenager was stabbed in the torso by a group of muggers who stole his cell phone and his sneakers, the NYPD said. Cops released surveillance video of the suspects holding the stolen sneakers. 


At around 2:40 pm on December 7, an 18-year-old male and a 16-year-old male were walking near the intersection of East 165 Street and Grant Avenue when they were approached by a group of males. 


Cops said one of the males put the 16-year-old in a choke hold and then kicked him. 


Another member of the group pulled out a knife and stabbed the 18-year-old in the torso, cops said. As the teen lay bleeding, the group pulled his sneakers off his feet and then forcibly removed his cell phone.

MANHATTAN - The NYPD has identified the victim found dead in a Central Park playground with multiple cuts over his body. Police are investigating the death as a possible suicide.

The suspects were then caught on surveillance video fleeing the scene with sneakers in hand, cops said.  


The 18-year-old stab victim was rushed to Lincoln Hospital where he was listed in stable condition. The 16-year-old victim refused medical attention.
