By David Greene  Bronx Voice   October 7, 2025 BRONX - Police have arrested a 15-year-old female and are searching for two others after an 11-year-old child was hit with a rock, chased for five blocks, punched and thrown to the ground and beaten and kicked—and one young girl kicked the child’s puppy and it was all captured on surveillance video. Pregnant Woman Mugged By Scooter Rider

BRONX - A mugger riding a scooter targeted a pregnant woman crossing the street in the Bronx, cops said. 


At around 1 pm on October 12, a 34-year-old woman was crossing the intersection of Grand Concourse and Mount Eden. Cops said a man on a motorized scooter rode up to the mom and grabbed at her neck trying to rip the chain off her. 



Cops said the crook was unable to remove the chain and rode off on his moped westbound on East Mount Eden Avenue.

Police released surveillance video of the suspect seen riding the moped. 



The suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion and heavy build. He was last seen wearing a blue baseball cap with the NY Yankees logo, white t-shirt, light blue jeans and white sneakers.
