Teen Muggers Rob Straphanger for $3 in Bronx

The NYPD are searching for three teens who assaulted and robbed a straphanger for $3 in the Bronx.

BRONX - Police are looking for a trio of muggers who beat a straphanger for $3. 



At around 4:50 am on October 2, a 27-year-old man was riding a northbound Number 4 train when three teens surrounded him. The three punched him in the face and then rifled through his pockets. 



Cops say the muggers made off with the victim’s cellphone and a wallet containing $3. 



The suspects fled the subway but not before being captured on surveillance video.  






The first suspect is described as a boy between the ages of 14 and 16 with dark complexion and a slim build. He was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black and white shoes. 



The second suspect is a male between the ages of 14 and 16 with a slim build and a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, black pants and red shoes. 


The final suspect is between the ages of 14 and 16 with a dark complexion and slim build. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and gray jeans.
