BRONX - A Bronx man was viciously stabbed in the back during an apparent random attack in broad daylight near the Kingsbridge Armory, cops said.


 

At around 1:15 pm on September 29, a 49-year-old man was walking in the vicinity of University Avenue and West Kingsbridge Road, a block away from the Kingsbridge Armory. A man walked up behind the victim and plunged a sharp metal object in the man’s back. He then stabbed the victim in the foot before running off. 


The victim was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was listed in serious but stable condition. 



The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect. He is described as a male with a dark complexion, medium build and a beard. He was last seen wearing a light blue hoodie with light jeans and construction boots. He also wore a heavy black winter coat over the hoodie.
