BRONX - The NYPD just released new video of a suspect wanted in the brazen morning carjacking in December in which the victim was boxed in by two other vehicles.

At around 10 am on December 1, a 61-year-old male was driving his car on Park Avenue in the Bronx. Cops said a red sedan stopped suddenly in front of him and a dark colored minivan stopped behind him.

Cops said a man hopped out of the red sedan and walked over to the 61 year old. The man simulated that he had a gun and forced the driver out of his car. The carjacker hopped into the victim’s car and drove away, cops said.

No one was injured during the carjacking.

The suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion and thin build. He has last seen wearing a black jacket and gray hoodie underneath with the word “Nike” across the chest. He also wore a dark knitted cap and red and white sneakers, possibly checkered.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
