Robbery Nets $2000 - Victim Punched in Face in Bronx Mugging

BRONX - A trio of muggers beat a Bronx man and stole cash and property valued at around two grand, the NYPD said. 



At around midnight on October 28, a 32-year-old man was standing in front of 1454 Grand Concourse when he got into an argument with three men outside the building. Cops said one of the men punched the victim in the face. The other two men rumaged through the victim’s pocket, forcibly removing the victim’s cell phone and $1,300 in cash. 


The attackers then ran southbound on the Grand Concourse. 


The victim refused medical treatment at the scene.  


The cell phone and the cash left the attackers with a haul of around $2,000.  


The NYPD released surveillance video of the three suspects. 



The first suspect is a male who is six feet tall. He has a medium complexion, medium build and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a white and black hat, a green hooded sweatshirt with a black t-shirt underneath, and blue jeans. 


The second suspect is a male who is 5 foot 9, has a medium complexion and medium build. He was last seen wearing a blue and black hat, black hooded sweatshirt with a white t-shirt underneath, and tan pants. 


The last suspect is a male who is 5 foot 10. He has a light complexion, medium build, goatee and braids. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
