Baby New Year Born in Bronx



BRONX - Health officials at Montefiore welcomed the Bronx’ Baby New Year.


Montefiore welcomed 8 pound 12 oz. Baby Yeniel at 2:57 am at their Wakefield hospital. Baby Yeniel, who is  21 inches long, was born to Bronx native Yenelsi Mendez Arias.





The newborn is seen in photos seen sporting a hat made by one of the  nurses at Monrefiore.
