BRONX - A trash bag burglar made off with a $3,500 laptop from an electrical contractor in a nondescript office building in the Bronx.

The NYPD released surveillance video of a man dressed in an orange shirt and black pants standing in front of the building at 1870 Grand Concourse. The site sits between a pharmacy and a physical therapy office.

At around 5:30 pm on August 22, the suspect sits down atop a group of boxes used to store medical waste and waits until the coast is clear. He then opens the door and casually walks inside the building.

Cops say the man roamed the halls of the building trying doors of various offices to see if they were open.

On the third floor he found an open door at TC Electric. In the office he found a Dell laptop valued at around $3,400.

Cops say he placed the laptop in a black garbage and casually walked out of the building and fled the location.

Investigators describe the thief as a man in his 40s who is 6 feet tall and weighs 200 pounds. The suspect has a dark complexion, thin build, bald head and was last seen wearing an orange collared short-sleeve shirt, black pants and black sneakers.
