At around 4 am on October 27, the suspect dressed in a pirate costume was seen on surveillance video wandering around the subway station at Brook Avenue in Mott Haven.  Cops said the Jack Sparrow look like walked over to the turnstile and attacked a 32-year-old male. The pirate repeatedly punched the victim in the face and body. He then ripped the victim’s AirPods out of his ears and then took the sneakers off the man’s feet.  The mugger than ran out of the station.  The victim refused medical attention at the scene.  The suspect is described as a male with a light complexion, dark hair and a mustache. Hairnet Bandit Robs Livery 

Police are looking for suspect seen sporting a hairnet in connection with the knifepoint robbery of a livery cab driver in the Bronx.

BRONX - The NYPD is looking for a hairnet wearing, knife-wielding thief who robbed an elderly cab driver in the Bronx last month. 




At around 8:30 am on September 4, a 63-year-old livery cab driver was parked in front of 1022 Rev. James A. Polite Avenue. Suddenly his fare seated behind him sprung forward and displayed a knife demanding cash. The thief made off with $87. 




Cops say the cabbie was not injured. 




Police released surveillance video of the suspect who was seen sporting a hair net.
