Train Conductor Sucker Punched in Bronx

BRONX - A Bronx train conductor was sucker punched in the face by a deranged passenger at the subway station near Hostos College.
The attack happened at the East 149th Street and Grand Concourse subway station near Hostos College. At around 7:30 pm on September 20, the Number 2 train had just pulled into the station and the train conductor opened the window to his car. Suddenly a man ran up to him and punched him in the face.
The attacker fled.
The conductor was transported down the block to Lincoln Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
