Norwood Gunman Being Sought by NYPD

The NYPD released surveillance video of a man running down a block in Norwood repeatedly firing a gun.

BRONX - A Bronx man is lucky to be alive after being repeatedly shot outside a store in Norwood. 


The NYPD released surveillance video of a gunman running down East 204th Street while repeatedly firing. 


Cops say the mayhem broke out around 5:45 am on September 19 in front of a store at 365 East 204th Street. The video shows the 31-year-old victim running from away from a car parked in front of the store. Then the gunman gives chase firing as he runs along the sidewalk. 


The victim was struck repeatedly in the back, chest, ear and hand. 


The gunman is then seen on surveillance video running back to the grey sedan and driving away westbound on Bedford Avenue. 


Police are looking for this man in connection with a shooting in Norwood.



The victim was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
